Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using OGProof (ogproof.veridux.ai / ogproof.io), operated by VeriduxLabs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

OGProof is a social preview testing tool that fetches Open Graph metadata from URLs you submit and renders approximate previews showing how your content will appear when shared on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Discord, Slack, and iMessage. This helps you catch broken OG tags, missing images, and truncated descriptions before sharing.

How OGProof Works

When you submit a URL, OGProof makes an HTTP request to that URL to fetch its HTML and extract Open Graph, Twitter Card, and other metadata tags. This is similar to what social media platforms do when you share a link. The fetched metadata is used to render preview cards for each platform.

Preview Accuracy

Social preview rendering is approximate. Each social media platform has its own rendering engine, image processing, and text truncation rules that may change at any time. OGProof previews are based on publicly documented specifications and observed behavior, but they may not be pixel-perfect matches to actual platform rendering. Use OGProof as a debugging and validation tool, not as a guarantee of exact appearance.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use OGProof responsibly. You must not:

• Submit URLs at an excessive rate that could impact the service
• Use OGProof to scrape or harvest content from third-party websites
• Attempt to interfere with the operation of the service

Disclaimer of Warranties

OGProof is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of preview results. Social media platforms may update their rendering at any time, which could cause discrepancies between OGProof previews and actual appearance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriduxLabs shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of OGProof, including damages from reliance on preview results or any content displayed through the service.

Service Availability

We strive to keep OGProof available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, update, or discontinue the service at any time.

Intellectual Property

OGProof, its design, code, and branding are the property of VeriduxLabs. Metadata fetched from URLs you submit belongs to the respective website owners.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of OGProof after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
